Internal Communications Officer*

Department: PR & Internal Communication/Fulltime (39 Hrs /Week)/Permanent/Location Bensheim/ASAP

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate and implement various internal communication activities for an audience of approx. 700 colleagues worldwide, adhering to CBM’s overall communication and brand guidelines
  • Drive the cultural change by setting standards for open, attentive and respectful communication and dialogue
  • Write and review different text formats for various target groups, incl. ghost-writing for executive management
  • Plan and facilitate regular staff webinars
  • Edit the monthly staff newsletter
  • Contribute to the worldwide intranet

Qualifications and Requirements

  • University degree in communication and/or the humanities
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in international communications is required
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with appropriate tonality and messaging straight to the point
  • Strong sense for suitable topics for audiences with a varied professional and cultural background
  • Full professional proficiency in English; Advanced German language skills and additional languages (French, Spanish) desirable
  • Practical experience with Microsoft365 environment as well as with virtual conference/webinar tools and Content Management Systems
  • Along with Intercultural competence, willingness to travel occasionally to project countries too
  • Excellent presentation and networking skills
  • Service mentality and team orientation
  • Identification with Christian values and the mandate of CBM
