For a temporary parental leave replacement (ca. one year) in our Humanitarian Project Management Team, we are looking to recruit a Project Coordinator* Inclusive Humanitarian Action!

The position is full time with 39 h/week.

This position is only filled locally. With contractual conditions of the respective country. An expatriation is not intended.

These are your responsibilities

  • Coordinating CBM-led activities within a consortium program funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) 
  • Logistical planning and content support for capacity-building measures in Western Africa 
  • Supporting the CBM country offices and project partners involved in developing and implementing a monitoring and evaluation framework 
  • Coordinate both financial and narrative reporting in accordance with the guidelines of GFFO 
  • Coordinating activities and project administration with stakeholders
  • Overseeing budget monitoring, expenditure forecasting fund allocation across project countries 
  • Provide support to the consortium partner in a range of communication activities, including the development of project materials and providing content for the project website 
  • Other project management activities and administrative tasks within the field of inclusive humanitarian aid
 

These are your qualifications

  • Completed studies in a relevant subject area 
  • Several years of experience in coordinating and managing complex third-party funded projects and in dealing with institutional donors (especially GFFO)
  • Fluent in English, French is an advantage 
  • Relevant practical expertise in humanitarian aid and in fragile countries and contexts 
  • Experience in the inclusion of people with disabilities is an advantage 
  • Willingness to travel to project countries in Western Africa 
  • Intercultural competence 
  • Identification with the Christian values and mandate of CBM
